Derek Paxson

Derek is a Master’s student in Aeronautics and Astronautics working in the Gas Turbine Lab. His research focuses on the design of more efficient compressors for supercritical carbon dioxide. He received his Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, where he was part of the Formula SAE team.
